Finally the 0.5 release!
Yes, was a long wait, a long and hard work but now we are here and we want to go on. The new release come with a lot of new small features. One of the most insteresting is the support to Mongo DB, a powerful NoSQL engine.
The CMS require MySQL or MariaDB to work but you can use even a Mongo DB database for you biggest projects.
The use is pretty simple, default queries for X3 CMS models work even on Mongo DB with really small differences.
Soon a tutorial on the new Help On Line will explain all details.
Oh yes, the CMS include a new feature called Help On Line, an almost complete User Guide to use X3 CMS (we are working on the developers guide).
And you can add even Help pages for your clients to explain how to use a particular module or a feature.
The new Info page will help webmasters and developers to discover server settings with one click.
