MORE ON THE HELP ON LINE IN THE ADMIN SIDE OF X3 CMS
X3 was developed to be simple and allow maximum flexibility.
It is normal that the first approach is a little frustrating but if you do not let down, after few sessions you will feel at home.
The interface
The interface is full of items, we use icons for reasons of space (you can use X3 even with small screens).
After familiarizing yourself with the icons will all seem less obscure.
Icons
There are global icons:
Site Management (global settings)
Languages (dictionaries)
Users management (groups and users)
Themes (themes, templates and menus)
Plugins (modules)
User Profile (to edit personal profile)
Log out
Create a bookmark (create a link to the current page in the admin dashboard)
There are item's icons
Possible actions on each element are indicated with icons, the most common are the following:
Create a new item
Edit
Enable / 
disable (almost everything in X3 if disabled will not displayed)
Configure or manage a particular aspect of the item
Lock / 
unlock (useful if there are many editors)
Delete (delete is always irreversible)
Close (X3 often opens form inside a slide window, if You want to close this click on this icon).
